“didn't want to leave”
Reviewed 13 June 2011

My wife and I visited Ireland on a self directed tour and ended up spending almost a full week in Killarney because we liked it so much. Killarney is a quaint, friendly area where the people were our favorite.

“The most things to do in Ireland”
Reviewed 4 June 2011

You would have to go to one of the bigger cities to find more to do but than you wouldn't have the charm Killarney has. From attractions to accomodations, From shopping to dinning Killarney has it all. You can spend all day seeing the sites. Such as Ross castle, Muckross house and farms, take a cruise on lough leane, hike in Killarney national park, tour the Ring of Kerry, well you get the idea. You could spend all your time there. After your finished seeing the sites for the day. You can enjoy an excellant meal at one of the famous pubs. Such as Tatler Jacks, O'conners, Crock of Gold. Then hit the streets for some shopping. Most of the shops stay open until 30 past 9. Then find a pub and sit and relax with a pint or two listening to some great traditional music. What more could anyone ask for?

“Beautiful, friendly and clean destination”
Reviewed 16 November 2010

County Kerry, Ireland was the most beautiful place I have ever visited. We stayed in Killarney, which had an adorable little town with horse and carriage rides up to a ruined castle. It was also within driving distance of the Ring of Kerry, which included the most breathtaking views of the Irish countryside, lakes and mountains. I would highly recommend visiting Ireland and staying in Killarney. You will never meet friendlier people or a nicer location!
