Lucky, lucky us for connecting with Pat and Patrick Buckley!

My wife and I plus one other couple just returned home from spending a week with the Buckleys touring Ireland. Our trip from start to finish could not have been more perfect.

From my initial contact with Pat his communication, itinerary planning, selection of hotels, restaurants - and perseverance in dealing with our many scheduling delays, were greatly appreciated.

Patrick’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion truly brought the beauty and history of this country to life. His insights and stories made every location special, and his attention to detail ensured that our trip was seamless and enjoyable.

Pat was an absolute pleasure! From the moment we were introduced to Pat and Patrick, they were extremely responsive, accommodating, and kind. I messaged Patrick who was with other clients at the time, so he immediately had his dad, Pat, reach out to me. We chatted, made our arrangements in about 10 minutes and we were set.

When we met Pat at Shannon Airport, he immediately struck up a conversation with my wife, and they realized that her ancestors were from the same village where he grew up - Tullylease. On our last day with Pat, he hatched a plan to take us to Tullylease to see if we could find any trace of my wife’s ancestors - and we did! A headstone for the last family members in the village.

One thing to note about Pat - he knows EVERYONE. Whether it’s an attraction like the Cliffs of Kerry, a local restaurant in Killarney, or one of the golf courses, when Pat calls or walks in, someone always knows him and takes great care of his clients.

Pat also knows the roads like the back of his hand. There’s the Ring of Kerry and then there’s Pat’s Ring of Kerry - a wonderfully different experience than being on a big tour bus. Pat has a wealth of knowledge about Ireland and during our 3 days with him, we weren’t able to stump him or ask a question he wasn’t able to answer.

Most importantly, Pat was just so much fun to be around. He has a love for life and for what he does - and it shows when you’re with him. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

This was my fourth trip to Ireland and by far my favorite! This was a girls trip and we decided to tour the west coast of Ireland and it did not disappoint. Pat and Patrick created a week long tour that allowed us the opportunity to admire the beautiful scenery on the west coast but also set us up in lovely accommodations in Galway, Killarney and Kinsale. The hotels were located near the city center and walking distance to great restaurants, pubs, live music and shopping. The quality of the tour and the value for the money was five star!! I will definitely be recommending Pat & Patrick to our friends and family. We can’t wait to book our next trip!!
