We were lucky enough to have Patrick as a guide for 5 days of our mother/daughter trip around Ireland and all four members of our group ABSOLUTELY LOVED HIM! He was super friendly, helpful, and full of fun facts about the country that really helped us to enjoy our time in this beautiful place. Patrick went above and beyond to book us reservations at amazing restaurants and even helped plan an impromptu boat trip to meet some puffins! He was consistently on time, engaging, knowledgeable, and always managed to be right where we needed him when we were done exploring a new spot. We can’t recommend him highly enough and were truly sad to part ways at the end of our trip. Thanks for everything, Patrick!

We had a great week with our driver Pat Buckley. He was always on time and showed us great landscapes in between each golf course. I would have him be our driver again in a heartbeat! Very personable and told great stories and jokes during each drive. Had great recommendations in Kinsale, Waterville and Killarney. Highly recommend Personal Irish Tours.

We had 6 days in Killarney. My wife and I are 74. We don't have the strength we once had, but we didn't want to waste our time on a large tour bus.
Patrick became the perfect answer. We drove the Ring of Kerry and made the tour of Dingle. Patrick's knowledge was wonderful. But even better, we got to know him and he us. Through him and our discussions of history, politics and a bit of religion, we saw a bit of Ireland through the mind and heart of an Irishman.
Patrick was open and read us well. He knew the best places for us and catered accordingly. I was able to do some hiking along the way which got me out to see , smell and taste the wonderful landscape of mountains, valleys and lakes.
I'm painting with a broad brush. Most important, we left a friend behind, not just a tour guide.

We toured with Pat for 9 days--we flew into Shannon and left out of Dublin. Pat showed us many places and has a wealth of knowledge at all of the locations. We enjoyed great food at reasonable prices because of Pat's knowledge of the various restaurants; reservations were in place so we could walk in and enjoy our meal.
Pat is a delightful, considerate man and after 9 days he was still smiling and polite as ever.
I highly recommend Personal Irish Tours!

We got to tour with Patrick for 3 days in Killarney. We did the Ring of Kerry, The Dingle Peninsula, Ross castle, The Killarney national park, Muckross Home & gardens, and Abbey. Patrick was absolutely incredible! Such a genuinely nice person and so immensely knowledgeable about all things Ireland and then some. He gave us so much detailed information about our tours and some really funny stories. We had so much fun and I can’t wait to take my sister to see Ireland and do tours with Patrick! I saw some of the most beautiful places, ate some really delicious food and gained a friend. To me that’s what travel is all about! ☺️
