Overall a good stay. Found the dinners to be very bland, not like previous stay. Pool not overly busy, common areas kept clean & tody. Housekeeping super friendly. Would stay with family again but probably skip dinner.More

So much for children to do they are entertained from start to finish, food was lovely, breakfast had so many options and was really nice, pool was perfect for kids and had arm bands available with was great as we forgot a set for one child that couldn’t swim

Seeing this hotel online I thought it would be perfect for our first holiday as a family!
The rooms were very dated
There was a fusty smell in the staircase and the restaurant wasn't even open!
Considering we stayed in June I expected the hotel facilities to be open but they were not. So there was zero activities for my little boy and we had to go elsewhere for soft play even though there is one in the hotel. I don't think we will be staying here again as I was so excited at the time of booking and extremely disappointed on arrival and duration of our stay. However, breakfast was great! 10/10 and the location is great, it was about a 20 minute walk into the town itself.
Its a 3star hotel and the rooms and facilities definitely reflect this.

great hotel for kids lots to do and food is great staff are lovely great service i would advise anyone with kids to use this hotel location is fine as can walk around town great restaurant and pool is great for kids

We stayed in this hotel on St Patrick's weekend 2022. It was our first time going to a family orientated hotel, my wife used to come here (Ryan's Hotel) as a child with her family so we said we would give it a try. To ne honest it was a much better experience than I was expecting. The hotel has been renovated over the years and like every hotel there is always bits and pieces that could probably do with a little more attention, but overall we were very happy with the hotel and the room. It was clean and nicely furbished, good size bed and had a kettle so ticked all the boxes for us for a short family stay.
The pool area was perfect with different depth of pools for kids of all sizes and swimming abilities.
The breakfast in the morning was very good. All your usual fry up items, as well as cereal, yogurt fruit etc... and also had pancakes and waffles for those with a sweet tooth like myself.
We had dinner on one of the nights in the hotel again the food was very nice, but for us the most impressive part was when we checked in for dinner, the girl at the desk had actually been given information from our booking that we had a child with us who has a dairy intolerance and she had already notified the chef who will prepare some mash and other food especially for him making sure there was no dairy used in them. This really helped us enjoy our own dinner knowing that the staff were so accomadting.
As it was Paddy's weekend the hotel was full of families with kids everywhere, we decided to have a drink in the bar and I wasnt too sure if I would enjoy having so many kids running about. But it was great to see all the kids having fun and enjoying themselves.
We will definitely be back when the little man is older to run about and really enjoy this family orientated hotel. Adults and kids everywhere were having a good time.
