Probably one of the best things we did in killarney! Booking the tour and the ease of having a lift to and from start and finish was great. We did the tour in reverse with the boat first. The boat across the lake was fab with amazing views but once you get into the meandering streams it was like another world! It was so enjoyable and a bit of fun out of the guide. The jaunting cart journey across the gap was just as good, great chat from the driver and such a lovely way to see the gap. Highly recommend, make sure the rain jacket and sunglasses are both packed!
Great day out in Killarney to the magnificent Gap of Dunloe. Boat trip was really good with plenty of banter from the tour guide. Amazing hike through the gap and than bus back to Killarney. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed this tour very much! We had one overnight in Killarney before a walk on the Ring of Kerry, so we decided to do this tour. It was late October, but the weather was good (55-60 degrees Fahrenheit); it was a mix of sunny and some clouds making this lovely area even more picturesque. Our jaunting tour guide, Jim, was funny, kind, and a native to the region. Lunch was simple (soup and a sandwich) but delicious. A memorable adventure!
We had a great day with the Gap of Dunloe Boat Tours. Got the boat from Ross Castle to Lord Brandon's Cottage and took our bikes with us.
