Nice scenic gentle few hours by Jaunting Car out to Ross Castle and guided lake cruise. Most enjoyable. But, be aware that transfer back into Killarney is not included, no problem for the able-bodied as only a few kilometres.....a taxi for 2 cost 8 euro back into town.

In the boat you can really appreciate the beauty and size of the lakes. My compliments for the crew as they tell a great many details about the lakes and it's surroundings as well as its history. I absolutely recommend to go on a tour!

We had a fabulous time on the water bus tour the captain gave facts about the water castle mountains he told us about the white tipped tail eagles showed us where they had a nest it was very smooth sailing our daughters very much enjoyed it it was their 1st time on a boat we would very much recommend it if you are at Ross Castle in Killarney
