I wondered if I was at the right hotel... the outside and entry, well, let me just say, it made me question its 5 star luxury hotel status.
Thankfully, once I checked in and went up to my accommodations on the fourth floor, all doubts vanished. I booked a deluxe lake view room but was upgraded to lake view studio suite. [without asking] The suite was large and furnishing sophisticated and with gorgeous subtle shades and colors, only enhancing the breath taking view out the large windows making the suite over the top luxury. The bed was not a regular king it was larger and the bathroom draped in stunning marble. Though I only stayed one night, it was a five star luxury stay, to say the least.
I arrived at 13:00 and after putting my bags in the room I headed straight to eat, I had their Caesar Salad and Fish & Chips... plate licking yum yum yummy, I don't remember the restaurants name but it had a great bar, piano and more stunning views.
After lunch I walked around outside, visited the cemetery next to the property and walked for a while on grassy areas road-side.
The hotel's staff was warm, friendly, professional and able to answer any question I had, the spa was elegant, calm and smelled fantastic, I didn't partake in any treatments so that's about all I can say.
Again it was only one night,...I wondered if I was at the right hotel... the outside and entry, well, let me just say, it made me question its 5 star luxury hotel status.
