This hotel is a favourite of ours however, our last stay at the International was disturbed by noisy late night wedding guests. The hotel made great efforts (on the night) to deal with them and the following morning they were quick to apologise & offer us a complimentary stay. We recently stayed at the International hotel, Killarney again and as usual had a wonderful time. Killarney is a wonderful town with so much to offer. Check-in was seamless & covid regulations are thoroughly adhered to, but not at any discomfort to guests. The staff from reception to bar & housekeeping are friendly, helpful and obliging. The quality of food the menu is varied and tasty. We can particularly recommend the curry and the Lime &Chili salad. The wine menu is varied and reasonable in price too! The restaurant staff are friendly and efficient. Our room, (we were so lucky to receive an upgrade) was stunning. Cleaning is 100% with housekeeping brilliant if you ask for anything. Breakfast in bed is a treat and plenty of it. I was delighted to be asked about our stay at checkout and the receptionist actually really listened to the answer. Delighted to say there was no feeling of pay and go. The only thing to note is the hotel (city centre) does not have parking but there is a few public carparks within 5/10mins walk, so its no big inconvenience.
