Stayed here before and, once again, enjoyed the relaxing comfort and attentive good natured service of the staff.
Location is second to none with views over the lakes and visits from the deer of the national park and a short distance outside Killarney town.

We came for a mid-week Break just to get away from all the Covid negativity. Had a wonderful 4-post bedroom with a fantastic view of the lake and all the deer that visited at night. We didn’t leave the property in the 3 days, we didn’t feel the need to. The food here is superb.
We had body scrubs and massages on the 2nd day and they were wonderful. The Polish lady who delivered them was very professional and I would strongly recommend her.
All in all we had a wonderful stay here and would gladly return again.

After a hectic time at work it was time for me and my best bud to become zen again and where better to recharge than at The Lake Hotel. I’ve stayed there a few times and it never disappoints. This stay was no different.
We checked in and met really friendly reception staff. We headed down to the room but unfortunately the room smelled like…..a sewer. I went back down to the desk and the really professional reception staff could not have been more apologetic. They instantly upgraded us to a lakeside deluxe suite with a four poster bed and electric fireplace and jacuzzi bath.
The room was a bit warm at night and there was no water so we were a bit dehydrated at night. There’s lovely libraries and classic style lounges to chill out, have some drinks and enjoy the views of the surrounding lake and mountains. The servers who man these lounges were very friendly and efficient.
The breakfast was nice. We did encounter a bit of repeated passive aggressiveness from one of the breakfast servers (because I asked him for more coffee) which was unfortunate. But I won’t let him take from the professionalism of everyone else!
The long and short of it is I can’t wait to come back for another chill out session before the next busy season kicks off!!

This was one of our best hotel stays. From walking in the door and being met by the very welcoming reception staff , to the relaxing atmosphere of the bar, to the really amazing food in the restaurant (which we highly recommend), we could not fault anything. The suite was spacious and the views breathtaking, we watched deer running across the lawn from the windows and saw them drink from the lake. It was stunning.
We’d highly recommend a stay at the Lake Hotel, also check out the hot tub when you go.

Our second stay in the Lake Hotel and once again it didn’t disappoint. The friendliest staff, beautiful and clean accommodation, stunning view and incredible food. We felt so relaxed here, it really is such a nice escape. We could have stayed another week!

Lovely hotel - great location
Staff are great nothing would have been too much trouble.
Hotel a small bit dated but the views make up for it.
Great choice at breakfast - plenty of hand sanitiser provided.
