My wife and I had our mini moon here at this fantastic hotel. We were unusually fortunate with the weather considering it was February and the temperature was ~15 degrees. But even without the weather this hotel stay was one we will not forget. Stayed in a deluxe lake view room with breakfast. The view from the room balcony is not one you will forget in a hurry. Similar views from the spa centre hot tub are definitely worth coming back for. Very peaceful stay in February as the hotel was not busy during these times. Staff are excellent and very attentive. Both my wife and I had a head, neck and shoulder massage and the masseuse was excellent and professional. Dinner food in the main restaurant is recommended and the extra aperitif mini dishes (main and dessert) were welcomed! 3 course dinner menu for €40 was excellent value and food delicious. Overall an unforgettable stay!

The hotel with its views are breathtaking. Its lovely and quiet and every detail is no matter how small is perfect. Our room is the nicest weve ever seen we didnt want to leave. Its as if we were staying on an island all by ourself. Pure heaven.

We have just returned from a visit to Killarney. We were blessed with wonderful weather and a lovely hotel. We elected to book a Master Deluxe room with balcony in the new wing of the hotel. A very comfortable room with views over the lake and hills that will live with us for a considerable period of time. The sunset on our final evening was simply sublime.
We dined each evening in the Bistro bar as opposed to the restaurant. The food was excellent each evening and the service excellent. Clearly late-February is a good time to visit Killarney as it is quiet. The weather for our 3-day visit was simply stunning.....great for getting out and about to enjoy this beautiful part of Eire.
We used the fitness centre every evening...…….under used but we enjoyed the Steam room and Jacuzzi outside overlooking the lake.
The hotel has been undertaking a major facelift and the bedrooms in the new wing are excellent. Would we return, certainly...….thank you to the team at the Lake.

Fantastic location, very friendly staff and great food both in restaurant and bar. Walking distance of the town and national park. The rooms are very spacious and beds are extremely comfortable. I particularly loved the open fire in the lobby.
