A visit to wild Ireland

The location of Randles is perfect for the ring of Kerry, Dingle and Baere Penninsula. 20 mins from the airport. The town is great, good food and nightlife walking distance away. 5 mins and you’re in Killarney National Park. The hotel is beautiful, lovely rooms with great facilities and the staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendlier. Breakfast was sumptuous. Couldn’t fault any part of our stay here.

Pretty but a little boring

Very pretty hotel but a bit staid. We sat in the bar for a couple pints and found it to be boring. The staff doesn't interact and the drinks were costly. Breakfast in the morning was very good. We had dinner one night and I can recommend the Duck. The bathroom has a small trash can that sits upon the drain next to the toliet. If you move that small bin your bathroom will smell like sewer back up. All in all, we liked Randles but for us, it was a little boring and spendy.

Room tip: Try to get a room facing the front of the hotel for a view of the mountains.

Thank you for your review. It is very unfortunate that you found our hotel to be boring and our team to be uninterested as we usually receive such positive feedback on these points.

Noisey room

Nice hotel but our room was situated right beside the lift and we didn't get a wink of sleep all night. Pool and leisure area very nice but there was no water dispenser which I think is very important have if you want to use the sauna and steam room.

It is unfortunate that you did not mention your dissatisfaction to reception who would have been more than happy to see if there was another room available to move you to. However, we appreciate your feedback on this as it allows us to continually improve our service.

Lovely stay

I would certainly recommend this hotel. Lovely comfortable room even though I stayed in the petite double room great breakfast, Really nice, helpful staff. Had a nice swim in the pool in the morning and left the hotel feeling very refreshed and relaxed.

Spending my Birthday at the Randles

I celebrated my 50th birthday with a trip to Ireland and on my actual birthday we stayed at the lovely Randles Hotel in Killarney. The weather did not cooperate, being Ireland in March it was raining in the morning, but I had already decided my morning would include a trip to their day spa where I got a Sheer Bliss massage.
We arrived the night before my birthday when the rain had started and it was very wet and blustery, and we had been driving all over the Kerry and Dingle peninsulas all day so we were very tired. After we checked in we were able to grab a pint of Guinness a the small hotel bar and sit by a cozy fire and relax. The concierge was a delightful man named Shane who also serve us our beer. It was he who said the Guinness had to "cook" referring to the special way it needs to be poured and we have been using the term "Let the Guinness cook" ever since.
Everyone at the front desk was extremely helpful in everything from booking my massage to helping us make dinner plans and calling us a taxi.
On our second breakfast there I got the standard Irish porridge and it came with the usual honey, brown sugar and cream... but it also came with a little nip of whiskey if desired... I desired and it was fabulous.
