We thoroughly enjoyed our guided walk with Richard. We were fortunate that we had glorious weather and as a result we had a fairly big crowd (12 or so) along for the walk. Richard was born and raised in the area and is very knowledgeable of the area. The "2-hour" walk turned into an enjoyable 3 hours.
Perhaps due to the larger crowd, the discussion was a little limited but we certainly saw some parts of the park that most tourists would not see (including a few shallow stream crossings).
The highlight for the kids (12 & 9) was Richard's dog Roa who joined us and made it that much more personable.
