Sean is a perfect host and guide to the ancient wonders of this lovely bed and breakfast. He took us on a tour of the grounds, showed us the site of ancient Irish monks, and took the time to explain his family's history in this place. Breakfast was very good; the room was lovely. We especially appreciated the effort to be as "green" as possible.

What a welcoming place, located close to many beautiful natural attractions. The house is easy to find, simple but comfortable. Sean was a great host, helping answer questions and even loaning us a local guide book to help make our time there more meaningful. This is not a fancy B & B, but if you are looking for someplace that gives you the feel of a home and provides everything needed at an affordable price, I'd highly recommend Salmon Leap.

Salmon Leap is one of the best B&B's I've stayed in. Beautiful house and location, wonderful family running it with good recommendations and advice, delicious Irish breakfast. Place was impeccably clean, beds were soft and comfortable. I also really like the environmental ethos and their use of biodegradable organic soaps. There's no WiFi in the rooms but there is a mobile hot spot in the sitting room that you can use.

A very nice and cozy place to stay in the nearabouts of the king of Kerry and Killarney Nacional Park. Sean was always very helpful and the breakfast was really good! Aproximatetly 10km from the center of town, in the middle of many farms. You will ser cows and mountains!

In a short distance of Killarney and Killarneys National Park. The owner of the house is very kind and is interested in his guests. We really loved it to stay there for 2 nights. Servicelevel was high. If we asked the owner brought us some coffee/tea and biscuits. Please make sure you have a car.
