Nice and friendly family run B&B. Very helpfull in giving tips for activities in the area. The owner Sean likes to keep a personal touch with his guests. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were great with a seperate shower cabin.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time at Salmon Leap Farm! We had booked the B&B in advance believing we would have a rental car; however, when we arrived in Ireland we learned that the cost of the rental car was out of our price range. We had to take a taxi out to the B&B it is a little ways outside of town and were worried about having to take taxis around the next day when we were in Killarney. Turned out to be no problem because Sean was kind and not only took us into town in his car, but also showed us exactly where we could go to rent bikes and have a wonderful day in Killarney National Park. We are very grateful for his generosity! We also loved the Irish breakfast, the room we were given, and getting a tour of the ancient burial site on the grounds of the B&B. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in Ireland...next time with a rental car!

great location and Sean is a great host. Warm, friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable when planning activities in the area. Very comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast. A little investment in providing wifi for the rooms and a coffee/ tea bar in the lounge would make this a 5 and perfect!

Room Tip: I wouldn't have thought it would make any difference!

Loved my stay at this B&B. Beautiful location with a mountain backdrop! Breakfast was wonderful and included in the price of the room. Something that bigger hotels don't include. Internet was touch and go but there was so much to do in the area I didn't really miss it. I like that they try and source as much local products as possible

Room Tip: There are stairs so if you need ground floor ask.

We only stayed with Sean for one night but wish we could have stayed for longer. The house is warm and cosy, the rooms are spacious and the view out the back Windows is beautiful. Sean was a great host, very knowledgeable and helpful and a great breakfast too. You won't be disappointed!
