Great to stop in for a quality Guinness, a hot whiskey or to just relax. It was on my list of pubs I had walked past and never entered. I remedied that and was not disappointed! lovely little bar

This is one of my favorite soup and sandwich bars in Galway. The soup is always wholesome, hot and home-made. The Sandwiches, and the Rolls, are fresh-made, with roast beef, egg salad, ham cheese and tomato, ploughmans. You can get the toasted too. Simple food, done right, and they don't scrimp. It's a quiet place on a winter's afternoon, with the wind whistling off the bay, the rain spattering on the windows and the warm welcoming glow off the big cast iron stove making it all so comfortable inside, whatever the weather is at outside. Very friendly staff, and always a welcome for a stranger.
