My husband located this restaurant on TripAdvisor for our first dinner in Galway. It's not located in the "tourist" part of Galway - it's across the causeway in the "West End" but it's worth the short walk across the canal. The restaurant was quiet (Sunday night) but the service was perfect and the FOOD! Oh my - the food was spectacular. I started with the Goat Cheese and Beetroot salad - gorgeous presentation and such a creative and delicious combination of flavors, set off by two pink grapefruit sections. Just perfect. My husband started with the crabmeat cannelloni- light and so flavorful and fresh. Then for our mains he had Monkfish with fresh greens and buerre blanc - absolutely delicious. I had Mushroom Risotto - it was a large portion (we finished it together) with just-right combinations of mushroom, Parmesan - nice and creamy and rich. The wine list is not large but there are good examples of whites, reds and sparklers. They also make some special cocktails that looked delicious but we had Italian sauv blanc. Couldn't manage dessert but we are already discussing returning tomorrow night. By far the most excellent meal we have had in our 10 days in Ireland so far, and in such a lovely, understated surrounding. The owner chatted with us a bit and she was lovely as well. Overall a perfect dining experience.

Top notch restaurant at very reasonable prices. Crab cannelloni, mushroom risotto, and monkfish with beurre blanc sauce were excellent. Nice environment, excellent service complement excellent food. Best meal we've had after three weeks in the U.K. And Ireland. Compares to best meals we've had in London and Dublin.

Had dinner here last evening with two friends. Have been a couple of times before when visiting Galway at this time of year. The restaurant is on the west side of the city just a very short walk from the centre. The food is magnificent. We all opted for the hake, served on a bed of sauté potatoes. All beautifully cooked. Excellent Chardonnay to accompany the mains. We enjoyed a bottle of dessert wine with the cherry panna cotta that followed. The service is always first class here and the owner - Justyna - takes a keen interest in her clientele. Highly recommended.

Dined here this week, wonderful restaurant. Menu has plenty to offer, with unusual twists on the usual favourites.
