Nice hotel in a Good location. A small walk to centre of town.
Breakfast was buffet style with hot food available on request. Room was comfortable and spacious with ironing board , hairdryer and tea making facilities available.
Would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Stayed here with some friends on a recent trip to Galway.
I was impressed with the room as the decour was different. The hotel seemed to have a different vibe going on in terms of how the interior is designed which I enjoyed.

We decided to have drinks in the dining area outside. We were immediately struck by how disinterested all members of staff were. There was very little table service and we needed to go inside to get anyone's attention to order a drink. There was no friendliness from staff. I struggled to understand their demeanour.
I wonder if there is poor management and this is why they were so visibly unhappy doing their job.
It really impacted on our experience as it felt as if we were annoying staff.
My expectation when going out for drinks would be for staff to be friendly, attentive and warm which they were not and for this reason I don't recommend this hotel and I wouldn't return.

We stayed here for one night. Checked in at 7.30 and a friendly lady at check in called us a taxi for 8pm. The room was clean but basic.

For a hotel with such good reviews we were disappointed there was no water provided in the rooms, even just in plastic bottles etc. We dined out in Galway and walked 30 mins back to the hotel and had a few drinks at the bar. The staff were polite and courteous.

Breakfast was described on the wall in 2018 as "award winning" - we were very unsure how this award was given. We queued to get our tea/coffee and cooked breakfast. Again the staff were friendly but the food was appalling - all the meat felt very cheap and eggs rock hard. Really disappointed with our overall stay as it felt very overpriced for the quality of the stay. Would not return or recommend unfortunately.

Room tip: Long walk into city centre, be aware of this before you book

It’s a good hotel and has what you’d expect. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable. The internet speed is decent and there’s free parking.

Definitely ask for a room with rear view. The road facing rooms are noisy due to road noise. Also, there’s no air conditioning. You’ll need to keep windows open when it’s warm, that rear facing room will make more sense.

Room tip: Get a rear facing room

Very lovely hotel to stay in all the staff were very kind and helpful, they made us feel very welcome especially the bar staff in the evening!! Rooms were also very clean and comfortable however they were very warm and had no air conditioning. Staff member did provide us with a fan for the room though, would recommend and stay again!!
