The hotel is in a great location and is decent enough. Would completely avoid the breakfast, it is low quality and the serving staff are all over the place and not co-orinated at all. Decent for 1 or 2 nights stay

The car park is a long half-mile walk from the hotel, which is located in a pedestrian area.
Traffic in Galway is atrocious. It took an hour to get in to the car park before we made the long walk to the hotel.
When we discussed our ordeal with the reception staff, they laughed at us.
Avoid this place if you need car parking.
Went in for dinner with sisters and four children asked for children option for Sunday lunch three different staff didn't seem to know and said go to the chef and ask they were all standing around and another staff member proceeded to kiss very passionately her boyfriend who came in right in front of our kids I never experienced anything like it very disappointing we went over to the skeff then and had the complete opposite experience
I dont usually write hotel reviews but everything g about the stay here was top notch. From the staff I dealt with via email ( notable simon). So helpful efficient and friendly. Group of 14 ladies. Rooms were ready hours before the 3pm.check if which helped us as we were on a tight schedule. Massive rooms. Spotless. Pleasant and professional staff member greeted us with all of our names ready to go and I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I have stayed before but they have made great improvements. I have stayed here for over 20 plus years and absolutely love it. Everything from the location, amazing in Eyre Square, to the food and especially the wonderful people that work there. Simon, Leona, Matilda, Christina, John, Tom in the bar who fed me yesterday evening and was so lovely. Mateo in the bar who served me breakfast and especially Catherine the kindest lady. And last but not least Ollie the night Porter. Their customer service and the way they look after their guest is second to none. It is such a pleasure staying here and I hope for many” years to come. Stopped here for our something to eat our first night in Galway and had a great meal here. Lovely fresh food and fair price. Wonderful introduction to Galway. Would highly recommend it. Great service and friendly staff.
