My room was so clean and neat, and the staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming. The room was equipped with what I needed, and again, it was very clean. Receptionists answered all my questions with detail and a friendly attitude. Honestly, the location is AWESOME. It's right at the corner of Eyre square, and so close to the Latin quarter, and not too far from the Claddagh too. If you come by bus it's like a 5-7 min walk from the bus station. I came for a conference to Galway and stayed here for several days--I really recommend this place!

The hotel is smack right in the centre of Eyre Square, 5 minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants. Inside it’s slightly dated with repeating bits of random “hotel” artwork, but it was still clean and comfortable, with helpful staff.
The room was down a few winding corridors, but was a pleasant room. It was huge with lots of space, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower and a full size bath. The water pressure wasn’t amazing, nor the toilet flush strength, but that was fine enough. The air conditioning was very pleasant keeping the room chilled during a heatwave, and there were two opening windows too. We were very comfortable during our stay.
The staff in the restaurant seemed to have English as a second language so didn’t often understand, and sometimes would go off for assistance but not come back. The managerial staff were easy to find and get help from though. We would happily stay here again.

Booked the hotel for a weekend as Galway is fantastic, asked when the residents bar is closed, told three am. Came back to the hotel at around twelve and the bar was closed, ask why and was told the barman was sick, ok no problem. Next day Galway we’re in the all Ireland final so we went out for a meal and the town got a bit messy. Went back to the hotel at twelve thirty, bar closed again, night porter who was a gentleman said com back in an hour, there’s people very drunk he can’t serve. We went up to the smoking area and starting to chat to a couple of people, a guy called AJ told us he worked for the hotel, he texted down and came back with drinks for us all, you can meet som fantastic people on your travels.

I came by cat, the hotel did not mention which car park to use, so we won't benefit from any deal as our car is now locked for the night. We paid quite a lot of money and the room stinks. The variety is that old you can see through it. You pay for being in the center I guess but it's no better than a BnB, which would have been a lot cosier.

Room tip: Ask which car park your can use for the deal and don't expect much from this hotel.

Convenient and well priced hotel -stayed whilst travelling back to Dublin airport.
Room comfortable, quiet and has air con.
Checked out early so didn’t try breakfast but this hotel is clean and very central to Galway city which suited my needs.
