Dear Barbara,

Thank you for your recent review of Flannery's Hotel. I was delighted to hear that you found our rooms beautiful. We often try to provide complimentary upgrades when we have the opportunity to do so.
I apologize that the hotel car park was full. In rare instances of this occuring, we have an agreement with the property next to us that allows our guests to use their large car park as an overflow.
Hopefully we can welcome you back soon.

Kindest regards,
Dara

This friendly mid-sized hotel is in a perfect spot - only a couple of kilometres from the centre of Galway (so nice & quiet) but near enough to catch 1 of the frequent local buses going into the centre (€1.90 single). It was also easy enough to get a taxi ((approximately €10 - €13 for the journey to the bus and railway station)
All the staff were very friendly and our rooms were cleaned every day. Our rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, coffee machine and a large bathroom with a shower above a bathtub and plenty of hot water. Our room overlooked Galwegians Rugby ground while others had scenic views over Galway Bay.
Food in the restaurant was really tasty and a reasonable price with an excellent full Irish breakfast available from 07.30 - 10.30, a carvery for lunch and an extensive menu in the evening. The bar stayed open till gone midnight serving a large array of drinks at reasonable prices - there was live music on 1 night (Friday) while we were there.
I’d have no hesitation stopping here again when I visit Galway again.

Dear Dave,

We appreciate your comprehensive review of our hotel. We are only 2.5km away from the city centre, and whilst this is only a short distance, we too find that it is a much quieter location than the city centre itself. Thank you for mentioning the transport options also, buses can be found every 5-8 minutes right outside the main entrance of our hotel.
Thank you for mentioning our comfortable and spacious rooms, and the views we provide from our rooms. I was delighted to read that you found the food in our restaurant tasty and good value.

Again, thank you for your well-formulated review, and hopefully we will see you again in the future.

Kindest regards,
Dara

Nothing exciting about this hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful but the rooms were just adequate. The restaurant was good but not exceptional and the wait staff was also good. The hotel could use some attention.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your recent review of our hotel. I was glad to hear the you found the staff and restaurant pleasant. I was disheartened to hear that you believe the premises needs attention, as we have recently refurbished many of our rooms. I will be sure to pass your kind comment on to our waiting staff.
