A middle of the road hotel. Our room was clean, spacious and with a nice en-suite.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is close to the city centre. Don't drive into town ... get the 409 bus .. dirt cheap and it runs every fifteen minutes from right outside.

Let down by the food. Dinner in the bar and breakfast were below the std I would have expected...

This hotel was a little on the aged side. To get to the rooms you had to pass a kitchen door that stayed open all the time. But to be fair we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel and the staff was really friendly. There where no blackout curtains and the back side of the hotel faces an active rugby field. If you like to watch a bit of TV before bed there were just a few channels to choose from. It was an 8-10 euro cab ride to Galway city center.

Generally okay but poor wifi connectivity was poor and very sporadic . Parking was difficult as the car park was often full and quite difficult to manoeuvre around . The rooms were however clean although a bit damp. The staff were however very helpful and friendly . The food was good but service was a little slow but it was busy

Thank you for your recent review of Flannery's Hotel Galway. I was pleased to read the staff looked after you with there friendly and helpful manner. Thank you for also mentioning the good food. The chefs will be happy with your feedback.

In relation to the car park, we have an overflow car park next door to the hotel which is open to our customers 24 hours and is complimentary for all our guests.

Our wi-fi hubs have all been updated in recent weeks and we have received tremendous feedback on the wi-fi speed but I will be sure to look into the room you were staying in and ensure the problem is rectified.

Thank you for all your feedback. We hope to welcome you back to the hotel in the future.

This is the most convenient place to stay if you are visiting Galway, just out of the city centre Flannery's offers great service, loads of food and drink options and has a tasty traditional cooked Irish breakfast - make sure you take a room with Breakfast included!! The sausages are to die for, the bacon so tasty and the pancakes were the best my wife has ever tasted. The staff are really helpful too and after 2 trips to the bar they even remember your order, true Irish hospitality at it's best.

We only stayed for 2 nights with my mum and brother in another room down the hall, we enjoyed the bar in the evening and light snacks in the beer garden, watched some Hurling (GAA) in the main bar and had a restful and relaxed place to return to each evening having sampled the main City Centre hustle and bustle.

The rooms were spacious and well kitted out with Tea & Coffee facilities. The bed was super comfy and we slept peacefully each night with no noise to interrupt us.

Room tip: Both the double room and twin rooms were tastefully decorated and offered good in-room facilities including flat-screen TV.
