Ate here last night with my parents. Delicious food. We shared a mezze board to start.
The tapas are expensive but the portions are large and so tasty!!
Service was great too, both really friendly waitresses.
Will definitely be back.

Visited the Black Cat on a cold evening in Salthill.
Decor is simple with quiet jazz playing in the background. Restaurant is divided into 2 small rooms with tables mainly for 2.
We chose seafood chowder for starter and a selection of tapas for mains. The chowder was delicious and the tapas were good sized dishes with sweet potato fries which were outstanding. The Chocolate brownie we chose for dessert was beautifully made.
The bill came to 100e for 2 starters, 4 tapas, 1 dessert and a nice bottle of Tempranillo. Would highly recommend this restaurant

Dined here in the beginning of January. Was complete sold on the decor straight away, very intimate, feels almost like a home than a restaurant, but very sleek and minimalist too. Had 5 Tapas between two, was plenty of food, accompanied with an amazing pinot noir, quite light and easy drinking. The quail was superb, and the meat balls were just melt in the mouth incredible. Was only let down by the scallops, which were just a little over cooked, but in no way were very bad. Staff were pleasant, but could have been just a little more present, I only say this as someone who works in service and can be very picky about that though. Would highly recommend this place, especially nice to get out of city too.

Went here with family for lunch and we all decided to go for Tapas so ordered 5 Tapa between the 3 of us. Lovely presentation of the food and they brought them out as they were ready which was just perfect. The mixed crostini were fantastic, a nice range of different toppings. The scallops were really well cooked, only criticism was that the puree they were on was a bit salty for my personal taste, but lovely non the less.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Great value for money (€88 for 5 Tapa, 2 glasses of wine and 3 desserts).
