A nice 3 day stay at the Harbour Hotel on our trip around Ireland! Great location right by the water, lovely views from our room, and a comfortable room. Check in was quick, and our room was just like the pictures. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and updated. The hotel was a good spot out of the busy centre of town, but still very close to everything so we could walk to attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront. We had breakfast one day at the onsite restaurant and it was a nice meal. The one negative we had with this property was there seem to have been a few bachelorette ("Hen") parties there while we were there. On both Friday and Saturday night we were woken up by people yelling, singing, and at one point banging on every door in the hall on the way back to their rooms at 2-3 am. It was a summer weekend so I know this might have been the case at other hotels in Galway too, but it was very loud and jarring to be woken in the middle of the night. Some better watching by the front desk to try to deter this would be good, as the people across the hall from us were talking about it too when we were leaving at the same time.
Otherwise a great hotel and a nice stay in Galway!More
