Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Front of house staff excellent from check in to departure. Room was spotless. Walking distance to Shop street so was perfect. Will definitely be returning.

Been to this hotel many times for many reasons . Family , friends , stag party, business. And it is as good as ever . Sitting quietly on the harbour but literally minutes from the bustling Latin Quarter this is an ideal base for anyone visiting the city. It’s a wonderful vibrant city full of culture, great music, great bars and indeed some great hotels. This one’s right up there. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are top class. Food and drink are just as good.

We booked here for two nights at the end of our week's tour of Ireland. We missed the turning for the hotel car park so better signage may be helpful. Plenty of parking spaces although they're quite tight but we still managed to park our very long and wide car easily and entered the hotel from the back entrance.
Very good lobby area, modern and stylish. Our room was decent and, although overlooking the busy road at the front, it was quiet. The bathroom was good although I struggled to turn the shower on and off as the controls were big and round and very stiff for my little hands. My husband had to do the honours!
We were delighted with the location, a short walk into the town but well away from late night noise. We'd also recommend downloading the VoiceMap app as the hotel provides a voucher code so you can access a free walking tour. Worked very well offline and was an interesting way to explore the city.
Breakfast was excellent - staff were very attentive and coffee was delivered quickly. Plenty of choice and decent quality, although a bit disappointed that most of the fruit appeared to be tinned
On our last evening (a Friday), we went into the bar for a drink before going to our room. There was a man playing guitar and singing. He was excellent and performed for ages, really got everyone singing along. Some people may prefer a quiet place for a nightcap but we thought the atmosphere was amazing and a perfect last night of our trip. We had more than one drink as well!
