Very popular with locals, for good reason. A great little authentic sushi place, with lots of atmosphere. Highly recommended for locals. For tourists... not sure why you'd want to eat sushi in Ireland, but you'll enjoy it if you do :)

Very nice japanese food and drink. Not to mention, in my opinion the nicest coffee in all of Galway. If you like coffee then the particular kind of coffee they do at this japanese cafe ('Sumiyaki Coffee' is what its called) is totally what you want. They also do very nice japanese teas as well (I recommend the Hoji-cha tea, very nice at this place must say). The sushi here is all pretty nice too but my favorite dish for one has most got to be their special, the beef tofu bowl. Very nice that one, honestly must say.

Visited for lunch. Ordered the most expensive lunch which was the beef special which was priced at €16.50. Barely any meat in the dish. My companion who ordered the same dish felt the same. Very strange. Don't know what chef/management are thinking pricing the dish at 16.50. Felt hard done by.

Waiter was helpful and friendly however and restaurant situated in convenient city centre location.
Feel management need to rethink value for money however.

Started really well with some lovely Maki sushi rolls but that was as good as it got. Two chicken dishes off the tapas style menu were completely inedible because of the amount of chicken fat and fatty chicken skin. Spent all of last night hugging the toilet bowl, sickening, will never be going back. American waitress unhelpful and didnt seem to know the menu , when asked to explain what a certain dish was she replied "there is a description written on the menu"... thanks but no thanks
