Had a great meal of fish and chips with a nice Guinness.

Solid, friendly service and perfectly cooked fish.

Recommended.

I have worked in Galway on and off for many years. Recently I've gone veggie and I tried the many expensive options in Galway town. However, the best kept veggie secret lies in Salthill. You wouldn't expect it, but the halloumi breakfast in the Galleon is hands down THE. BEST.

The staff are lovely, they accommodate any and all requests and it's just great to get good veggie food without the pretence that so often accompanies.

After a couple of mediocre meals around Ireland, our experience here was grand. We got here early as you can't book for groups of 4, but within 30 minutes the line was out the door which is a good sign.
The meals were very generous in size and the service was very efficient.
Highly recommend.

From the moment we walked up to the restaurant we were greeted so kindly. So well organized and efficient. Don't turn away if you see a line, it's worth the wait! Food was fantastic, service was excellent (Thanks Mary!), and overall the entire staff was so lovely!!

Nice selection of items on the menu from chowder to steak. Prices were average. Portions were large. There was a line when we arrived on a Thur evening around 7 pm. We waited about 10 mins. Food arrived quickly. Would return.
