I was excited to go into this pub and find a seat. The decor was very historic Irish pub like but I was let down by the burger I ordered. This is such a truly great pub and to just upgrade that burger to a higher standard would only benefit the pub. The history in this pub and its openness is very nice and welcoming.
They even had live music which was a pleasant addition to the pub. Great Place and I can only assume on weekends this place would hop.

Really enjoyed the night. The guiness was great and the band wasn't too loud like most place so we could still chat and catch up.

Really appreciate the reasonable band volume Monroe's, good work.

Myself and my partner went in for food and cocktails, food was delirious and cocktails were lovelt and fresh. Great atmosphere and music in this bar and bar staff were all extra friendly.

Stopped for a bite and a pint. Had the Mussels and prawns. Each had two beers. We had mussels three times in ten days and I liked these the least. There were at least a half dozen that did not open and the broth was tasteless. The prawns were tasty but small. The service was fine and the beer was cold.

The environment is welcoming and servers are lovely. The fish and chips were lightly breaded and fresh. The steak was very tender and had great taste. The linguine was delicious.
