Came here with a friend and both had the Irish breakfast - food was delicious, portion size was great and super filling! The staff were friendly and food and drinks came quickly. Also, the vibe in the restaurant was great as they had a couple of musicians playing live.

Had not been here in many years and was very pleasantly surprised. It was a quiet Sunday evening but there was a nice atmosphere. Waiting staff were very attentive. The food was really delicious. We had crab salad/chicken liver pate followed by steak/hake and two panna cottas for dessert. The steak was a little overdone for the medium rare that was requested but other than that there were no complaints. We followed up with an Irish coffee and a gin oriental cocktail each. Cocktails are half price on a Sunday and were very good.
The thetaste.ie voucher was very good value too and I will keep an eye out for others for this restaurant.

We had booked before Christmas as we have had problems in the past leaving it too late. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Food was great and we opted for cocktails in sted of deserts as you would after eating half a chicken. Our server was very attentive and we were suprised to find out it was only her 3rd shift.
All in all a good night, the other half was happy and to me that was all that mattered. Will be back.

You asked for a TripAdvisor review; well here you go...

Went here for a valentines dinner, after it was recommended and read a number of good/great reviews. Sadly this was a rather underwhelming visit and left a poor taste in the mouth.

Plenty of choice on the set menu and told we could order one or two courses opposed to three - no problem there - ordered two; bills comes and charges for three. This however was rectified quickly and with no fuss. The food itself was pretty good.

However, service throughout the meal was the big let down. Bread dish was basically thrown on the table with no side plates given - yet table beside that arrived after was given bread and side plates (by the same waitress!)

When we'd finished eating, the waitress started to clear the table but after leaving with some items she then went on to deal with other tables, bringing out desserts and bills before returning to finish clearing ours. There was no dessert menu offered - this had to be asked for.

Asked the same waitress for a drink - the barcardi arrived; the 7up didn't - upon asking (again) for 7up a lemon tonic was brought and then when this was pointed out to be wrong the 7up never materialised.

I don't think this is the general experience of guests to this restaurant - but on this occasion one staff member just let the side down. Trying to juggle too many balls at once comes to mind...
