“A key ingredient in our big day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 February 2017

We got married in December at the nearby registry office. Angelinas is close and we booked an area to have our post ceremony dinner. The service was outstanding, the food was tremendous and Angelinas played a big role in our day. We had a set menu but customised to fit our taste and budget. The house wine is excellent, from their own vineyard also. The pork belly starter and fillet steak deserve mention! Angelinas is a firm favourite and we'll be back!

“Last minute dinner booking for four hungry people”

Arrived late on a business trip to Dublin, a quick check on open-table recommended this place as being within walking distance, I must admit we were not disappointed, efficient service, great food all served in a great atmosphere

“Huge brunch selection with awesome location overlooking the canal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2017 via mobile

Visited Angelinas for the first time to try their Sunday brunch menu, having read a review naming the crab cake and avocado fish cakes hollandaise as one of the top brunch dishes in Dublin! Happily, the poached eggs with fish cakes was yummy and surpassed my expectations. Hubby enjoyed the pork belly with eggs hollandaise. Coffee is good n strong.

The menu has great variety and there's at least 3 dishes I'll be trying on my next visits.
Service was friendly, relaxed and efficient. Place was buzzing with a mixture of groups of friends, couples and families eating. I especially loved the open kitchen and spent some time watching all the different dishes being prepared and served! Go try it

“Fabulous!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 January 2017 via mobile

Went to Angelina's for a special birthday date night. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the decor is lovely and comfortable. The food was fantastic, especially the Parmesan fries.. not to be missed!! The staff were also excellent, we were so full from dinner but still wanted dessert, so they happily left us to chat away for ages with no pressure to order! Will definitely return again, maybe next time for lunch on the terrace which looked lovely!!

“A Decent Brunch Option”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 January 2017

From the outside this place doesn't look too impressive but the inside is fantastic, set right alongside the Canal just off Baggot street this is a very open and spacious restaurant with a nice ambient atmosphere which judging by the number of them present was perfect for families with young children as well as couples and gangs of friends, no loud music pumping so a nice change from the normal brunch scene.

The food was very good though I had ordered the avocado on sourdough and I'm pretty sure that I got a gluten free version bread because it certainly wasn't sourdough but the food was still great and excellent portions and a fair price too. Staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I loved Sophies and their sister restaurant hits the right notes too.
