“Great seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

I really enjoyed dining at Klaw. The oysters were amazing! However, I would like to point out that this place is more of a bar rather than a restaurant to spend time with friends. It is tiny and although the food is really fresh, it is more of a "fish and chips" type rather than a high end seafood dishes.
I ordered risotto and it was okay, but nothing special.

“Seafood”

Seafood simple and delicious. Absolutely love the simplicity of menu. U can have crab roll or Gambas and other treats. If in temple bar area you can't afford to miss this place.

“Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 weeks ago

This place is a true hole in the wall-my favorite kind of place. It is a tiny restaurant in the heart of Dublin. We waited shortly for a seat at the "bar" and were very pleased with the food. We had a lobster roll, crab roll, and a bowl of the chowder with gigantic prawns. Everything was delicious, but if you go there and do not order the lobster roll, you are missing out.

Not only is the food delicious and fresh tasting, but the atmosphere was really neat. It had a California beach vibe with the music.

Worth the wait and reasonable prices. You should go!

“Great food in a small place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Went here with my girlfriend and her family. The food was wonderful (I had the lobster roll). The others were also very happy with their food. However, the waiter forgot my order and while everyone else was eating I was still waiting -- assuming it was next in line. Waited some 40 minutes like this for an order that, when reminded of it, took about 5 minutes to make. But that's okay -- we were 6 people and the waiter might have misunderstood something or simply forgotten -- can happen. He was generally kind and polite, however.

Some problems with the locale: it was cold and rainy outside, but the entrance door had to be opened most of the time, lest smoke would get trapped in the place (which was small and not very wide). This obviously resulted in it getting quite cold after a while.

“Must try this one”

Amazingly good seafood, the grilled prawns and lobster roll were divine. Happy!!
Very tiny bit made up with the quality of the food. Service was good and that Bloody Mary was superb especially after nursing a two day bender hangover
