It really is a little kitchen and a little restaurant!

Very high standard of food and great atmosphere.

Food portions are very generous.

I would thoroughly recommend it.

Small, quant restaurant. Food was amazing! Staff was kind. Selection of traditional Irish dishes and inventive dishes. 20-25 minute stroll to Stephen’s Green afterwards to walk off the fullness.

This was my 6th visit to the little kitchen and while the food was as superb as always the service was severe let down, rude and despite asking for ice bucket told no as only had 4 but no other tables using one and on a Saturday night at 11.00 pm time to go not acceptable, very disappointed after many great nights

What a great restaurant. Everything you expect from an owner run restaurant. Really friendly and efficient service. Top marks to the chef, really lovely food, beautifully presented and no stingy portions. All in all a great night out.

A small place with a small kitchen with a BYOB charge of 5 euros. The dishes sound good but the chef is trying too hard — there are a few too many extras tossed on the plate which distract from the main protein - for example the lamb shank was very tender and tasty but smothered in treacle gravy with random salad item tossed on top as a garnish.

I would give them another try.
