Neighbourhood: South City Centre
Description: Located in the heart of the city center, next door to Dublin's City Hall and serves its guests with a wide variety of mouth-watering Italian cuisine. All of the pizzas at Cafe Topolis are cooked in the traditional wood burning pizza oven. A wood fired pizza oven cooks your pizza better than a normal oven because of the heat it stores in its dense walls.Due to its shape, the oven disperses the heat very evenly which ensure the pizza is perfect when it arrives at your table. If you're going out for lunch, then you can get a great lunch at Cafe Topolis from €8.95.The early bird menu starts at 3pm and offers a great set meal from €14.95.

WE have enjoyed Wood Fired Pizza through out our travels. We were glad to have found this great place! The Mozzarella Caprese was tasty! The Pizza Rustica was wonderful! The House Red wine was very good and went well with both!
It is very close to the Dublin Castle and City Hall.

There were 12 of us including 6 children and we had a great meal. The kids had delicious pizzas. Downstairs is able to accommodate a large group without interfering with other diners.

A lovely cosy restaurant with a nice, informal meal. The set menu special was excellent value for money at €13.50 for two courses. All the starters were tasty and varied. The rest of the party was very impressed with their pizzas, however as I can't eat pizza I was limited on the menu choices and ended up having a caesar salad which, unfortunately, was disappointing. The chicken had to be ordered at €2 extra and it was a tiny salad with no anchovies, little dressing and iceberg rather than romaine lettuce.

We went to Topolis last Sunday. The food was,as usual, excellent. The staff were helpful and pleasant without being intrusive. The Montepulicano was eminently drinkable. We have been going to this lovely restaurant for years and can heartily recommend it to anyone who likes good food at reasonable prices. We will be back!

Enjoyed eating there with the family. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. The open wine (Sauvingnon Blanc from Italy) was very good. Our kids enjoyed their pizza, pasta was ok.
