Went to the Bridges for lunch on our first day for lunch. It was located very near our hotel and was recommended by the hotel concierge. And we were not disappointed not in the least. The service and the food was excellent.

When we walked in we were met by the manager on duty, Colm, who advised us to sit at the bar where he put the tv on for us which gave us the best view for the game. Our intentions was only a few drinks and watch the match that was on. However, the smell from the food as it went by made us hungry so we couldn't resist ordering. We ordered the teriyaki wings and tortellini. Colm took our orders and served us the food. Both our meals did not disappoint. The service from the bar staff on the night was also top standard. not once did i have to ask for a drink. when they saw we were running low they asked us if we wanted another round. Our visit only happened because we were recommended by a friend. 100% will return and will be recommending to others.

An unforgettable and beautiful experience - we stopped in for a few drinks after the horse show and the atmosphere was so warm we decided to have a bit to eat - what a wonderful decision that was. The seafood chowder and prawns were absolutely magnificent and great value - we have dined in so called highbrow (meaning expensive!) restaurants in Dublin and haven't encountered the same quality or taste. What really made our experience so memorable however was the warmth, kindness and all round friendliness of a barman, Dave. He was so helpful and kind in every regard and was to every extent the genial and convivial host. His charm and good humour really made our night there such a charming experience. The only pity is I no longer live in Dublin but I know if I did, I would be in The Bridge every night. A lovely, lovely experience.

The Guiness tastes so much better there than in the US. The Irish say that it doesn't travel well! Fish and chips, bbq ribs! all were great.
