We reserved a table after reading favourable reviews of both the quality of the steaks and the attentive service. But the menu presents a problem. If you want a medium sized sirloin,18 ounces is the measure whereas 8 would have sufficed. We got around this by me ordering the sirloin while my partner had a Caesar salad. She then had some slices of the steak. Not a very elegant solution but it worked albeit she was eating steak a little rarer than she would have preferred. But we agreed that the steak was delicious and flavoursome.
So much for the food; the ambience was in a much lower league. A table of four young lads (they sounded too immature to be called men) had clearly been well tanked up before arrival and were drowning out all other conversation with their raucous laughter. We hope they enjoyed their evening more than we did ours.

Think its time they adapt menu into todays expectations - not just the North American traveller .
Very pricy for what you get and not very exciting choices .
Staff very professional wines uber expensive .

Elegant fine dinning and attentive, tending to obsequious , levels of service. Starters are many and varied . They are mostly cheap ingredients well worked into expensive works of art and served with drama. Steaks are excellent but grossly oversized for even a highly tuned athlete ! Side orders are exorbitantly priced as are almost all entries on the excellent wine list.
The addition of a not well published 15% service charge of €95.70 for a party of six was a little surprise. I note that this Service charge is also levied on bar drinks.

Service was good and the service was as you would expect from their service standards. Food was great, I ordered and was served a really nice cut of beef, the extras sides tasted great. But the warm cheese and garlic bread served at the start was to die for!

The staff here are fantastic greeted by a friendly hostess and showed to our table which was lovely, lively dining room. The starters were amazing especially the mussels, my steak was ok ordered a Strip Steak which to be honest was a small let down the quality wasn’t there.Sides and drinks all great.
Great evening but for the price paid expected a top quality steak.
