We reserved a table after reading favourable reviews of both the quality of the steaks and the attentive service. But the menu presents a problem. If you want a medium sized sirloin,18 ounces is the measure whereas 8 would have sufficed. We got around this by me ordering the sirloin while my partner had a Caesar salad. She then had some slices of the steak. Not a very elegant solution but it worked albeit she was eating steak a little rarer than she would have preferred. But we agreed that the steak was delicious and flavoursome.
So much for the food; the ambience was in a much lower league. A table of four young lads (they sounded too immature to be called men) had clearly been well tanked up before arrival and were drowning out all other conversation with their raucous laughter. We hope they enjoyed their evening more than we did ours.
