A wonderful place with excellent Italian food. The risotto was as good as any I have had in Italy. Very nice and attentive service.

Thank Lisbeth E

I've eaten here a few times with large groups and they are always a great choice. This time we ate from the set menu and had our order ready before we went so the service was exceptionally fast.

We have been to Il Corvo many time with our kids and by ourselves, It is a lovely place with a relaxing atmosphere. The food is invariably good and it is good value for money. The service has been great over the years, although some of the staff recently have been somewhat clinical. Rose, who runs the show, adds a lovely personal touch.

We have been dining in Il Corvo for the past 5 years and recently celebrated our wedding anniversary there to be so disappointed by the drop in standards in cooking, service and value for money (especially the wines ). The quality of service was dreadful with a bland clinical waitress who looked bored with her job. The scampi and duck starters were meagre and dripping in cooking oil, the main course special haddock was tasteless and the steak was over-cooked. Beware you now have to pay for a stale bread basket at 5euro.The wine at 27euro was vastly over-priced which we discovered could be had in a local supermarket for one third the price. We declined dessert and paid our bill of 105euro vowing never to return. A pity, it used to be our favourite Italian restaurant in Drumcondra.

This restaurant looks good from the outside, It advertises as Italian, but has food from everywhere. The clue to its quality is in the menu, dirty laminate, with dishes you remember from the 1980s. The food isn't that bad, it's fine, but it's just not very good.

Unless you're sentimental, I wouldn't bother.
