Stayed in The Liberties near the Guiness Storehouse which was quite central, weather luckily was good - only used public transport which was user friendly so very reasonable to travel - visited Malahide which was lovely and only 20 mins from Dublin on the Dart. Went on the yellow hop on hop off bus tour which was enjoyable, visited Grafton Street and St Stephens Green - people very friendly- would certainly go back for another visit and different places to visit
We spent a long weekend in Dublin and stayed in this perfect location. When you first arrive you have the feeling you are somewhere in the suburbs, since all neighbors are standing outside having a glass of wine in their bathrobes with the ones next door. But soon you discover that you are almost in the middle of Dublin. The place is clean and has everything you need. The instructions are clear and you chill in the backyard having a coffee or breakfast. From there Dublin is easy to explore by food and you reach all major sights in a short time walking. For a simple breakfast around the corner we recommend "Tasty 8" on Meath Street. If you take a day off going to the country, rent a car and go to "Enniskerry, Glendalough or Lough Tay" just beautiful. Enjoy your stay.
We had a great time staying here. We could walk to every major point of interest and the neighborhood is full of good pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Having the amenities of a small house was ideal; I was able to wash some clothes and we saved a bit of money by preparing some of our meals at home. I'd stay here again any time.
This little cottage was perfect! I brought my two adult sons and it was a good size for us. Incredibly close to most attractions. I think the only time we took a taxi was when we went to Phoenix Park, but we were short on time. The people in the neighborhood are extremely friendly and very good-natured.
Keith, the owner, was awesome! He gave great instructions on how to enter the property and even provided invaluable recommendations for us. He has a notebook in the apartment with instructions/recommendations for everything from how to work the pull-out to restaurants. We had a minor issue with a leak, but while we went to Blarney Castle, Keith had it all fixed before we ever got back! :)
The cottage is well-appointed and there were plenty of dishes, glasses, etc. The patio is perfect for a glass of wine in the evening. The bedroom was really nice and very comfortable. There is a dressing room outside the bathroom which came in really handy when we had multiple people getting ready at the same time. All in, it's just an adorable place to stay.
Would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back!
