Really cool area, and lovely staff. However, the whole thing is a bit disorganised and people are left waiting for tables a lot, and empty plates find themselves on tables for a long time.
Cocktails are good and food (from Pacino's) is good also.
HOW TO FIND THIS PLACE: Go into Pacino's Italian restaurant. Follow the stairs down under the 'shhh' sign. You really need to book though...

Sorry to hear that the service wasn't up to scratch during your visit, we had some staff suddenly fall ill while others were away on holiday so we were a bit understaffed for a few days ther. Apologies for this, these things happen in the service industry from time to time and we always do our best but sometimes, we fall short. We do hope that this won't deter you from visiting us again, however.

We went there with 6 people yesterday. It was supposed to be a birthday present for a friend. Some of us had starters. I have to say it is a bit overpriced for what you get. Two of the nicely tasting cocktails came in for 15€ in a little champagne glass. Some of the main courses had the size of an appetizer (example tortellini - you get about 6). Our party of 6 was then looking forward to the desert because we were still quite hungry after having a main course. So we asked for the desert card. Which came with loads of limitations - no Tiramisu, no Pannacotta, no Vanilla something. Basically 3 or for 4 dishes out of a 7 dish desert card were not available anymore. So we paid. which was a little bit of a hassle as they first gave us the wrong bill. The Service charge was not included. The service was not that great either. We always had to stopp the waitress in order to get our water refilled or something. We weren't even asked if we want some more drinks. Afterall we left an average of 35-40€ per person were still hungry and went to Mc Donald's afterwards. Which I personally never had to do once before, after going to a restaurant. The quality of the food is good but still the overall value for money is low. I will not come back.

We are sorry to hear about your experience in our restaurant the other night, which, as I can see from the other review that a person in your party left, was not to your satisfaction. In regards to the €15 cocktail in a wine glass, that cocktail is made, as is detailed in the description, with real champagne. We used to make them with prosecco and they were cheaper but then we decided to change them to include champers instead. We do have quite a few cocktails on our menu for €11.50 and €12.50 on our menu which is in line with other establishments in Dublin such as ourselves in addition to our champagne cocktails. As far as the portion sizes go, we use the real deal. All of our ingredients (bar the meat, fish and poultry) are high quality, Italian ingredients that we import directly from Italy. If we were to choose lower quality ingredients, then we could have bigger portions. Our tortellini is handmade in the restaurant every day. For quality such as this, you tend to get what you pay for. Most of our desserts are also made by hand every morning. We do our best to anticipate demand but sometimes, our expectations fall short and we then run out of desserts. It is difficult to gauge how much of each item will sell but our chefs do their best. Apologies again that the experience wasn't up to your standard but we do hope that this won't prevent you from coming to our venue again in the future here at The Blind Pig.

When we first heard about the Blind Pig, we thought it was just a speakeasy with fancy cocktails. Although our cocktails were wonderful, the food really set this restaurant above and beyond! Although pricey, I believe you get what you pay for. I had the Diamond Fizz which had gin, lemon sherbet, egg white, and champagne. For dinner, we started with the beef carpaccio and each had pasta dishes (gorgonzola gnocchi and mushroom tortelloni). For dessert, we had the tiramisu. The only thing is that we were never contacted with how to find the Blind Pig (there is a hidden entrance) so we kinda had to awkwardly walk into Pacino's and be let in. Would have been a lot cooler if we had known what we were doing.

Thanks for your review, so glad to hear that you had a good time! All the information on how to find us is in the confirmation email. Once our guests book a reservation with us, then they find all the directions in the email. However, sometimes guests don't realise that the information is in the confirmation email and then they struggle in finding us. Now that you know where we are, hopefully you will come and visit us again soon!

Great little find just off Grafton Street for a few cocktails before dinner. We really want to go back for a longer visit to take in the atmosphere some more.

This place is something very different and in a good way. You pass it every day in Dublin without even realising, once you reserve your spot for the evening you are emailed a very cool set of direction to this Very cool spot and location, which I would definitely recommend! The staff are very nice, cocktails are amazing! would be nicer to see more of a show when cocktails being made feel like they were playing it down.but that's my only complaint. Very worth while trip
