Booked a table for cocktails mid week. The reservations and arrivals process was entertaining and added to the experience as first timers although I suspect it would be less effective for repeat visits!
Happily the venue lived up to the image created on the website and we had a great evening. The prohibition theme is continued through the basement location, the low lighting (seriously, you will need a torch or a mobile phone to read the menu) and the drinks menu hidden in old books.
I can't comment on the food as we stuck to the liquid menus however the range and quality of drinks on offer is excellent and the general ambience in the small venue made it a very pleasant place to be.
We will return. Heartily recommended
