Went to this place to stay for the night and couldn't face so I left ... Had a drink in the bar, band on which were good ,atmosphere good, but the filth and dirt of the place is completely unacceptable. ... The toilets had 3 cubicles ...1 with no door ,1 with the door off the hinges and standing against the wall and 1 with on lock on it ... All 3 were destroyed with vomit .... Absolutely disgusting ... So I'm glad I saw that before I booked in ....somebody needs to wake up as I for one would rather sleep on a bench in the park !!!

Room Tip: Don't stay here

Well i tell you one thing. This place is bang for your buck! Came up with herself for a well needed break. Was met on arrival by some chap who looked me dead in the eye and goes 'I am John', nods at us and he just walks on. We get the check in done and leave the stuff in the room and we are out the door. Arrive back at about 11 and have a few drinks with the locals. All of which are mental but in a grand way. Belt out a few songs and tip on to the leaba thinking its all about to die down. Try everything to sleep but its not happening cause there is a party started downstairs and its now 3am. Down we go to find the entire staff having a ball with everyone. Great stuff i tell ye! Away we go for another few hours before finally hittin up the bedroom with some extra company from a few hotel bar regulars for herself. Nice lads, we got the job done and drifted off to sleep at about 6am. Up for breakfast at 8. Decent feed, check out. Price was great, stay was great. Top stuff Dublin!

Arrived, no parking, pre-booked otherwise would have run a mile. Rooms tired, the hotel is in need of a makeover. Threadbare staircarpet, creaks from everywhere. The bar was no better, staff didn't want to be there, kids running amuck, far from impressed. The ray of sunshine was that we turned into the wrong door and found the best indian restaurant, hidden on the second floor. Brilliant, food, staff and all for 14.90euro. VAGYA well be back, Sunnybank Hotel - never.

The staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms basic and dated but clean. Indian restaurant absolutely gorgeous and complete surprise in two rooms in middle of hotel Vagya which was recommended by lady in car park. The outside is terrible and i nearly turned and ran when i saw it but was going to concert in croke park that evening so options were limited! The clientele were true dubs really friendly and comical.Would go back but come on Sunnybank its time for a lick of paint or the exterior will scare off potential customers before they cross the threshold.

Got here with last min booking for westlife concert very unimpressed with exterior but proximity to croke park made us brave on. Receptionist nice room basic but clean. Indian restaurant in hotel was fantastic was unusually located in two rooms in middle of hotel. Hotel is real old dublin friendly and good humoured would recommend revamp of outside immediately before scaring off potential patrons as we easily could have been we would return for events in croke park.
