We popped in for a beer. And then.... these special lamps on the ceiling and the feeling of Tiffany's.... The drinks tasted better this way...

Walking around after arriving at our hotel and stopped in to Madigan's Pub. Kevin introduced himself asked where we were from and what we would like. I asked for a small glass of Guiness...not s hig drinker but wanted to taste suppose to be better in Ireland then at home. It was very good. Kevin also suggested we try the bacon, cabbage, mashed potatoes and carrots. Really enjoyed felt like and tasted like home. Enjoyed our first evening in Dublin. Looking forward to the rest of our stay. Maybe back for another Guiness!!!

Excellent city centre pub, good location a few steps away from O'Connell Street & GPO. Good choice of beers, busy yes but got a seat without a problem

Arriving in Dublin we dropped into this pub for a drink and a bite to eat, it looks like what we expect an Irish Pub to look like with dark stained timber panelling & cosy little seating areas, with music playing & a friendly vibe, good service & a traditional Irish menu, it's well worth a visit.
