This was the most amazing vacation ever due to vagabond tours and Shane Kelly. Before we got to our next stop Shane told us everything we needed to know. Shane loves Ireland more than anyone I ever met.

From the first day to the last, the Vagabond 7 Day World Tour of Ireland remained action packed, with stunning views and incredible locations. Aside from a few of the more “touristy” spots, we stayed mostly off the beaten track. Paddy, our guide, was phenomenal at navigating our busy itinerary, always took our feedback into consideration and was a great fit for our group! Some of the things we weren’t able to do (due to weather, etc) Paddy quickly found alternatives for us that were comparable or better. He did great at thinking on his feet and was genuinely invested in our experience being the absolute best!

I was most looking forward to getting to experience swimming/surfing in the sea, but this wasn’t the desire for most of the group (understandable so, the water was a bit chilly). But they were able to accommodate a quick dip at Ventry Beach for me and I was over the moon! This company truly goes all out for their guests. Our driver for Paddy’s day off was Brian. He jumped right in with our group and was personable, brought great energy and even gave some lovely book recommendations.

This tour is very fast paced! We were able to see and do SO much each day. For some this might feel a bit rushed, but I feel like adequate amounts of time were spent at each place. I also appreciated that, although this was a group tour, I was still able to do my own thing during some of the stops. Overall this was an experience of a lifetime that I won’t soon forget. A huge thank you to Vagabond, Rob, Brian, and especially Paddy! I’m already looking forward to my next trip back to Ireland!

We recently returned from our amazing 15 day Driftwood tour with Vagabond. We could not have been more pleased with our choice to go on the 15 day All Ireland tour with Vagabond. We had two guides due to the length of our trip and each guide was fantastic. We had Dave for the first 6 days followed up with Damien and both made our experience special in their own ways. Dave has an amazing talent as a storyteller and Damien provided the 10 of us in our group with all the "craic". You can't go wrong if you are fortunate enough to have either of them lead your group tour.

We loved the pace of the days and had plenty of time on our own to explore different areas. The lodgings we stayed in were well maintained and locally owned and operated which we preferred. Service in most of the hotels was top notch. Hotels provided all the necessities such as shampoo, hairdryers, etc. I would recommend packing lightly as a couple of the hotels did not have lifts and if your bag is too heavy it wouldn't be fun to get them to your room. It was never a problem because there was always someone in the group willing to help anyone in need.

The Irish breakfasts are delicious and could easily sustain a person until dinner however our guides always found interesting and fun places to stop for lunch. We didn't miss a meal on this trip. We saw castles, scenic cliffs, ancient ruins, beautiful countrysides and gardens, ocean beaches, small villages, cities for shopping, city parks and also enjoyed group walking tours. We did plenty of walking in each day so we easily got out 10K+ steps in each day.

The travel van was quite comfortable and we were lucky to have only 10 in our group so we could spread out in the van which was nice! Our group was wonderful and all got along beautifully. We had no drama and enjoyed each and every person we got to spend our two weeks in Ireland with.

We would both highly recommend you using Vagabond for your tour of Ireland. We wish they would expand their expertise to other countries as we would love to travel with them again. Thank you for making our experience more than we could have imagined!
