I can’t express how much I loved and highly recommend the 11-day Ring Driftwood tour.
Such GREAT CRAIC!
Our driver/guide Steve B. MADE this trip. Knowledgeable, caring, adventurous, and with such a great sense of humor. Kept all of us crazy ducklings safe and in step.
The bus was comfortable, loved the sights, and the all the history. So interesting learning about The Troubles of Northern Ireland, Dr. Aiden McCarthy of Castletownbere, and Tom Crean of Lahinch.
Hotels were all good, some were stellar. Food…so much good food, not to mention the wonderful hard cider. Did laundry in a parking lot one night and sent laundry out on another.
The folks at Vagabond were extremely helpful leading up to the trip and Steve B. was the absolutely the BEST. He’s a gem.

This trip was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Our tour guide Conor was the BEST! He took great care of us all week, letting the group know when to be ready each morning, what to expect, etc. He also kept us entertained with funny bits about the Irish history and culture. The whole trip was seamless! A perfect week! We will be back and use Vagabond/Driftwood tours again. Thank you Conor for leading our group in a trip of a lifetime!

The 11 day ring of Ireland tour was fantastic. Steve was our guide - his personality and storytelling expertise made the trip absolutely amazing! His depth of knowledge was beyond every expectation I had. Every place we stopped was more amazing than the last. I’d never been to Ireland before and cannot wait to go back. When I do, I’ll be asking which tours Steve is leading and will book based on that.

We had been planning this trip with our best friends since 2020. It was truly our dream trip of a lifetime! The scenery was so beautiful and felt surreal at times, brought me to tears when I saw the Cliffs of Moher. Our small group of 15 became friends and connected so well with our guide Tony. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and funny, and he kept our group on an organized timeline. Tony gave us great suggestions where to have lunch as well as where to hang out one evening in Dingle. One of our favorite nights was at Nelligan's Pub in Dingle - it was just like the 'ceili' evening I had imagined!! Tony also arranged a special concert night in Dingle to hear local musicians, have irish coffee, and see step-dancers perform. Another major highlight was Kylemore Abbey and Victorian Gardens. It's an oasis of ordered flowers arranged against the backdrop of the Connemara mountains. We also loved the tour of the working Irish sheep farm and old-style cottage. The hotels were all local, well managed, and very clean. Mount Falcon Estate and Gougane Barra far exceeded our expectations. So many wonderful sights and experiences. SO FABULOUS!! Hope to return and book Vagabond again next year. Thank you, Tony, and thank you Vagabond.

The one word that keeps coming up when I describe my trip to family and friends is FABULOUS!!
Tony our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny - we had a great time with him. The tour was so much fun - all the places we visited were amazing!
It’s a very active tour - lots of walking, hills and stairs so be prepared. I would highly recommend Vagabond and would use them again without hesitation!
