This fun tour was packed with beautiful scenery and interesting information. Our tour guide, Tony, couldn't have been nicer, better informed or more helpful. At nearly 80 years of age I was concerned about travelling abroad on my own, but it wasn't an issue. The other folks on the bus readily included me. I felt safe and well looked after. The 16 passenger mid size Mercedes bus was comfortable and had good visabilty. Because of allergies I needed scent free rooms and got them at all but the posh Falcon Retreat and Spa Hotel.

Your guide Tony is fantastic and we are so proud to have him. He loves nothing more but than helping guests and ensuring everyone is having a great time. Travelling in a small group aspect is so special. It allows everyone to get to know each other and form new friendships, something that may not happen on lager tour tours. Comfort is a huge priority for us and we are glad you found the bus comfortable while on your travels. We took the 7 day/6 night Treasure tour. There were 13 of us in the Mercedes Van. It was a wonderful tour. We were able to see so much because we weren't on one of those big bus tours. The hotels were really nice with comfortable rooms and the food was great. We really felt immersed into Ireland and loved it. The Sheepdog demonstration was a highlight. The Sky road provided views that cannot be described or pictured - it has to be experienced. I can't say enough good things about the tour! I highly recommend.

We just completed the 11 day Driftwood Tour with Denise. The tour was just top notch! We would highly recommend this tour and this company. We were looking to see the entire country of Ireland but did NOT want to drive. We wanted a small group tour and NOT a big bus tour. We wanted an itinerary that included a variety of hotel options in cities, in small towns and in the country. We wanted to be with the group and also spend time on our own. We were fully prepared to live out of a suitcase and understood that if we wanted to see the entire country, we would be in most places 1 night and occasionally 2 nights. We wanted to see Ireland and hear about Ireland from local, experienced guides. We wanted lunch and dinner recommendations from our guide. All of our requirements were met. Denise was the most amazing tour guide. She took great care to show us her beautiful country. She is professional, kind, funny, helpful, knowledgeable and a safe driver. The pace of the tour was just right for us - we wanted to see many of the major sights but some off the beaten path sites as well. Vagabond exceeded our expectations.

My husband & I just finished our tour and it exceeded our expectations. We bonded with our group of 10 and had the best experience with Damien and bonus guide trainees, Brian & Mairead. I can't imagine better guides!
Every day was a new adventure with beautiful scenery and fresh Irish air, plenty of exercise, delicious food/drink, and so much Irish history and new knowledge gained.
Unforgettable!

This genuinely was a trip of a lifetime. Our guide was Angela, she was absolutely fantastic. I loved the small group, the mixture of well known and less-known spots to visit, the places we stayed were fantastic, and we saw and did SO MUCH in only 7 days! I really love that so much of the planning was taken care of for us, BUT there was also a lot of flexibility. Angela was so well natured and even when things didn't work out exactly as planned we all had a wonderful time, there was no stress, and group relaxation and enjoyment was really prioritized. I was already planning another trip with Vagabond before ours was up and I cannot wait to go again.
We did the Driftwood Castles and Kingdoms tour - it was the perfect pace. We did a fair bit of walking (8-12k steps) but a lot of it was optional (wandering around towns as desired, site seeing around buildings, etc). It was very accessible to people of all fitness levels and accessibility.
We learned so much, and I feel like we got a really genuine picture of Irish culture and history. I felt really supported from start to finish, from booking to our last day. I cannot recommend Vagabond highly enough and I've already referred them to friends. Thank you guys for all your hard work, your hospitality is second to none!
