We enjoyed every part of our 7 day tour of Ireland. We had Phillip as our tour guide and Driftwood driver he was such a kind, flexible man who gave us a wonderful memories to cherish. My son 16 loved every minute. The landscape was so tranquil I never saw so many sheep in my life. Every hotel was different and yet perfect! We really had a great vacation and loved our travel companions too! Thanks for making our first trip to Ireland a memorable one.

The tour was excellent for providing great hiking, seeing gorgeous landscapes and experiencing wonderful Irish hospitality. Our tour guide Tony was amazing st finding alternative experiences when weather conditions were unfavorable. We experienced areas of Ireland that few tourists get to enjoy!

Let me start by saying that I am the type of guy that loves to plan trips in places I don't know so that I learn before I ever arrive. While I did that for our recent COVID delayed honeymoon to Ireland, I am beyond thankful that we booked the 5-day Edge of the World Tour with Vagabond. We were so very lucky that it was the begging of the season so we had a seasoned vet Jason as our guide and new Vaga-guides Hugh and Lisa tagging along to learn the ropes. All I can say is the future of Vagabond is bright if that is the future tour guides.
What we really loved about the tour is that while we hit major sites like Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Dingle, Ring of Kerry, Horseback riding, bike riding, Blarney Castle and more, all along the way we learned about Ireland. The insight to the people, the country, the history and everything else was equally as impactful as the beautiful scenery and the amazing cities. My advice to anyone taking a tour, buy a diary to write things down as they happen. We did not, and took several hours when we got home to line up pictures with receipts and maps to try to recall all of the things we did on our trip.
Having a small group like Vagabond really adds to the experience. We only spent five days with our group, but plenty of tears were shed when we all hugged goodbye. In fact, every time my wife hears the Cranberries (which is a lot now;) ) she starts to well up as we listened to them a bit on our bus.
We would certainly recommend Vagabond to anyone thinking about a tour instead of driving, we just wish they were in other countries so we could plan our next vacation with them.

Jason, Hugh, and Lisa are incredible guides, and it's wonderful that their passion and knowledge enhanced your trip to Ireland. Your advice about keeping a diary to capture memories along the way is spot on – it's amazing how much can happen in just a few days on tour!
The bond formed within a small group setting is truly special and it's heartwarming to hear that you and your fellow guests developed such a strong connection during your time together.
Thank you for recommending Vagabond, while we currently focus on tours in Ireland, who knows what the future holds!

My mom and I did the 7 day Castle and Kingdoms Tour in March 2024 and loved it! We were celebrating my 30th birthday and the tour guides helped make it so special along with other couples' anniversaries. Andrew, our tour guide, is so knowledgeable on the folklore and history of Ireland! The views were spectacular! Even when it was rainy and cloudy, Andrew made sure to take us to places we could still enjoy and learn. Each hotel was very comfortable and we were lucky to have amazing views in a few of them. Our personal favorite was the Gougane Barra Hotel!! Being at he bottom of the mountains with stellar views and pure nature sounds was phenomenal. Overall, we had an amazing trip and would definitely recommend Vagabond!

From start to finish, this trip was amazing! Danielle in the office was very helpful answering our many questions. Even with all the information we received, we were not prepared for how wonderful this trip would be. Our guide, Darran, is an absolute gem! His knowledge of the sites, the history, and the legends of Ireland was impressive. He was attentive, informative, and a lot of fun. Ireland is beautiful and there is so much to see and do. We had a phenomenal time, and we look forward to returning. Thank you for such a special experience!!
