My mom and I did the 7 day Castle and Kingdoms Tour in March 2024 and loved it! We were celebrating my 30th birthday and the tour guides helped make it so special along with other couples' anniversaries. Andrew, our tour guide, is so knowledgeable on the folklore and history of Ireland! The views were spectacular! Even when it was rainy and cloudy, Andrew made sure to take us to places we could still enjoy and learn. Each hotel was very comfortable and we were lucky to have amazing views in a few of them. Our personal favorite was the Gougane Barra Hotel!! Being at he bottom of the mountains with stellar views and pure nature sounds was phenomenal. Overall, we had an amazing trip and would definitely recommend Vagabond!

From start to finish, this trip was amazing! Danielle in the office was very helpful answering our many questions. Even with all the information we received, we were not prepared for how wonderful this trip would be. Our guide, Darran, is an absolute gem! His knowledge of the sites, the history, and the legends of Ireland was impressive. He was attentive, informative, and a lot of fun. Ireland is beautiful and there is so much to see and do. We had a phenomenal time, and we look forward to returning. Thank you for such a special experience!!

Great trip with Brendon, Page, friends, and fellow travelers. We went places busses can’t, and traveled the south rural coast. Had great fun in the rain and ate terrific food.

We did the 11 day Driftwood Tour. We cannot say enough about this company and our guide!
We had an incredible time. We always felt safe, even on those very narrow country roads and cliff edges. Our tour guide was intelligent, considerate, polite, professional, confident, competent, had an amazing memory, a wealth of knowledge, a wonderful sense of humor and was a true leader as well as an engaging story teller. He also had great taste in music!
Knowing that we had someone watching over us at all times made for an incredibly relaxing journey. He booked us into dinners and lunches on some occasions and on others pointed us in the right direction for incredible food experiences as well as Irish traditional music and Pubs.
Our tour covered the outside ring of the country and we visited not only all of the advertised locations but many surprises as well which made for a very rich cultural experience.
There was ample time to get ready in the morning as well as many rest stops along the way.
The hotels that the company booked were all amazing. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, with delicious restaurants and fun pubs.
Vagabond has a great back office as well. They never once let me down or made me feel silly with all of my anxious questions pre trip.
They make Ireland very easy to visit.
We highly recommend Vagabond tours.
Our only regret is that they don't tour in other countries!

If you are considering a guided tour of any kind in Ireland, ( which I strongly recommend!) look no further. Seriously, just book it with Vagabond/Driftwood! My husband and I just completed an 11 day Driftwood tour and there was absolutely no way in could have been better. Our guide, Dave, was absolutely knowledgeable about Irish history, local sites, what to see and what to miss, and was an absolutely enchanting storyteller of Irish folklore. I have traveled with three different tour companies throughout Europe, and I wish Vagabond had run them all. I had a small problem with one of the hotels (a hiccup, I assure you) and I contacted vagabond via email the situation was resolved WHILE WE SLEPT! If you are looking for the best, you’ve found it. It’s the personal touch that takes them outstanding to the best you’ll find. In closing, I’ll share one moment that overwhelmed me personally. As we were driving through Cork, I mentioned to Dave that my mother’s DNA traced back to Cork. Dave replied off the cuff, “ahhh, then you’re home.” That’s how you will feel in Ireland with Vagabond. 🍀❤️
