The small group size and off the beaten path experiences made for a grand trip! The activity level was excellent. There were no long drives. Unfortunately, a member of our tour tested positive for Covid. We all tested and I was positive. There were only three days of the tour left, but I was devastated. The tour guide and the home office worked quickly and efficiently. They arranged for travel to an isolation apartment and set up the remote testing necessary for a recovery certificate. The email on my phone wasn't working which caused another problem in communicating but the Vagabond Company came up with alternatives that worked well. Vagabond did not leave me to my own devices but stayed with me through this unpleasant ordeal.

Fabulous trip with an AMAZING guide!

Review of: Small-Group 6-Day Driftwood Ancient Ireland Tour from Dublin

Hands down the best trip we have ever taken. Our guide Andrew Dugan was super knowledgable and FUN!!! He took us places we didn't even know we would see, so it truly was a grand adventure! Andrew also had amazing recommendations for places to eat & things to see when we stopped at night. The small group size really allowed you to get to know the others on tour and adventure after hours. The small bus size also allowed us to get into places & see things the bigger tours can't fit in, so it really felt like we got to see more than just the tourist traps. Changing hotels every night can be a bit of a pain, but we only took 1 carry on size suite case each, so it was easy. The only thing we didn't absolutely love was that 2 of the hotels were older and more dated. We still loved every second of the trip. Looking forward to taking another trip with Vagabond.

Highly recommend

Review of: 8 Day Vagabond Wild Irish Rover Small Group Tour

Just the right amount of variety, fun, and adventure. The tour included scenic hikes, excellent accommodations, great food, and fun all along the way. It was long enough to feel like we had "gotten away" for a bit, and there was so much variety in our activities we never tired of it. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, helping us all feel comfortable from the start. I definitely recommend Vagabond, regardless of which if their tours you choose!

Great tour Ireland with Eamonn!

Our family (with adult Children) just finished the 8 day Wild Irish tour with Eamonn as our guide - it was FANTASTIC! Eamonn was so fun, kind, knowledgeable and worked hard to give us the the best, customized experience. He took great care of all of us! Accommodations, food, pubs, music and activities were fantastic. All our expectations were exceeded. We loved the active part of the tour - all the walks, hikes, biking in Killarney National Park - plus members of group golfed, ocean kayaked and rode a horse. The weather was beautiful - amazing countryside and amiable people.

Fantastic 11 Day Trip in Ireland

Our 11 Day Discover Ireland Tour was fantastic and was first class from start to finish. Our tour guide Ciara was personable, knowledgeable, accommodating and so much fun to be with. The hotels were all varied and usually in smaller towns and included a delicious full Irish breakfast every morning. Lunch stops were at small local pubs and dinners were either at our hotel or on our own in the town we were staying. All in all a wonderful trip that I would highly recommend to anyone.
