I'll remove the element of mystery right away and tell you I had the ribs and loved them. Deep and smoeky, cooked just right so they weren't completely falling off the bone as all good barbecue ribs should be. The brisket was a joy as well, tender, rich and it paired fantastically with the mustard sauce.
The side are excellent as well: slightly tart, fresh coleslaw with the poppy seeds priding good texture; crisp onion rings; beans that were nicely spiced and generous with smokey burnt ends. The chips weren't perfect but they were fresh and still a decent effort. Drinks aren't too badly priced for that side of the river. Although there draught selection of beers is now mostly just generic dishwater. Service is prompt and friendly and most of all, it's a nice place to sit and eat.
One of the very few places in Dublin where hipsters and people who actually love good food can happily co-exist.
