Cosy little pub.
Does really nice pub food particularly at the weekends for a decent carvery.
Music entertainment at weekend nights too.

This pub is close enough to us so we have been here a few times, usually drinking but every now and then we splash out and have some grub.
This week we all went and tried out their pub menu:
The kids menu, our girl had chicken nuggets which were nothing special(re heats) but plenty on the plate
We both shared the onion rings with fajitas which were perfect, the onions rings were gorgeous with crispy batter.
The fajitas were very tasty and plenty in 1 portion for 2 people.
Over all no complaints and the lady who served us was very attentive.
Stopped here to eat recently.Posibly the worst pub grub I've ever had.The kids had chicken nuggets which they liked but looked as if the were over done in the deep fat fryer.i had the fish in beer batter whichI can honestly say I think had I wrapped the fish (a dry thin fillet of something)in newspaper and stuck it in the fryer it would have had the same taste and soggy consistency as the batter.when I complained to the waitress she said she'd be back but never returned.i paid at the bar and left.never to return
Absolutely amazing food! Cannot fault here for lunch or dinner! The best beef and mushroom pie I've ever had! Just beautiful decent food at a good price. Three types of meat are usually on the hot counter and loads of choices for a full roast dinner or have it as a hot sandwich! Total heaven! Will definitely be returning
Visited here with a family a few times have always been happy. Staff are very nice and friendly. Wide spacious setting area. My partner accidentally knocked his dinner off the table and straight away a member of staff came over and cleaned up the mess and gave him a replacement dinner. Great place would certainly recommend it.
