Took the two day tour. We arrived after flying through the night and met Garvin at our hotel. We spent the next 3 hours walking and learning. By the time our second day's tour was complete we knew so much more about Ireland and Dublin. Garvin is a wonderful guide. At any given moment he would break out into an Irish brogue and once even started singing. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn about the trials Ireland went through over the years.

Great time and superb job by Garvan on our two day tour of Dublin. Perfect way to get a primer on Irish history and navigate the city. Garvans passion for and knowledge of Irish history are evident. His knowledge of the Book of Kells alone was quite impressive. We were so glad we booked with him as it was more like walking around with an old friend than your typical tourist type experience. As we only had a short week in the city this was a perfect tour for us. We arrived at our hotel and checked in and Garvan met us at noon. The plan for day one was to get an overview of the city and Irish history and was to last 2 1/2 hours. We actually spent closer to three hours and got a great view of some of the major highlights along with an awesome history lesson and a few pints to boot! The next day we met up later in the afternoon and took in the rest of the major highlights of Dublin. The only disappointment for us is that we didn't have more time on this visit to take advantage of Garvan's knowledge and passion for all things Ireland. We are planning a return visit in the future and will definitely avail ourselves of a more in-depth tour next time around. Highly recommend him if you're headed to Dublin, you won't be sorry!

Taking the (NEARLY!) ALL OF DUBLIN IN 5 HRS was the FIRST tour that we took in Dublin, it was a great complete picture of Dublin!

Garvan's Tour is THE Best, he was able to share his passion for Ireland and Dublin with us! Our time in Ireland would definitely not have been the same without him showing us Dublin and sharing the Ireland history with us ! He rocks! :-D

Garvan was very cool and asked us what where the things that we wanted to do / see in Dublin and he gave us some very cool recommendations that allowed us to have a magic experience in Ireland and enjoy visit different places as locals!

Definitely recommended that you take this tour when you visit Dublin! :-D

We have used tour guides, local ones, on many adventures throughout the world. But we have never had a guide as wonderful of Garvan who showed us places, told us stories, sang, recited and explored one of a kind experiences in Dublin with us a short time ago. Hands down he is one of the top three tour guides we have ever used in close to 30 years of traveling. He designed a custom tour for us which started at the Dublin Library and ended at the post office with a combination of site seeing, experiencing special commemorative events at the City Hall, the singing of "In Dublin's Fair City" and recitations of poetry by Yeats (Golden Apples in the Sun). If we could clone him and use him in every city we would. It was an invigorating, emotion filled, curiosity satisfying foray into Irish culture through food, history, song, poetry and places. We will never forget Garvan and hope that one day we will have the honor, and it was indeed an honor, of going on another tour with him as our guide.

What a great afternoon we had with Garvan and Cathal! Excellent tour guides who are both very knowledgeable about Dublin, Ireland and its history and they are both such fun to be with! Within no time they had my group of business executives singing and dancing. Great fun and a wonderful way to discover Dublin. I will and can recommend them for tourists, families, groups or individuals!
