Description: The Grand Central is a former bank renovated to classic proportions. The Grand Central features four central columns set around the central dome of beautifully restored 1920 architecture. It still houses the original safes that were still being used up until recently in it's former role as a bank. Here you find a great atmosphere, lovely cocktails, amazing food & super service.

This historic building is a warm and friendly pub that has a bar at the corner and is connected to it's restaurant which is adjacent. The pub is classic with stone and metal accents as is was bank at one time. The main area has a great domed ceiling and the bar staff is super friendly as are most of the Irish you will meet. Get a pint of Guinness and enjoy the Irish company. Then if you need a meal.. move to the restaurant area and enjoy some Irish eats. The prices are reasonable and the food is great. Plans on spending some time here.. has to be one of the best pubs in the area.

We are first time visitors to Dublin. We are a family of four with two teenagers traveling with us. The Grand Central is conveniently located off the Abbey Street stop of the local tram in downtown Dublin. We decided to stop in for lunch. The food and service was fantastic! We went back the next day to give it another try. The food and service was great again.

Food was good but the service was great. They didn’t have sweetener for me (diabetic) and the service went to the store and bought me some!!

Beautiful place, with friendly staff and nice food ( huuuuge portions). The cheesecake was very, very good.
The toilets are almost all the way to Scotland, or so it seems, bit they are clean and there is a handicapped toilet closer by on the ground floor.
